GentleWomen's Union (GU) is a non-profit organization that is passionate about empowering women to succeed. Our vision is to connect like-minded women through monthly events and foster encouragement, support, and connection. We aim to support women across all industries and professions in fostering connection.

Meet Our Board

President

Claire Quigley

Claire is originally from Ireland. She has a B.A. in Gnó agus Gaeilge (Business and Irish) and is a fluent Irish speaker. She now works at Vonage as their Senior Account Director for ANZ. She has been in the IT world for 10+ years across 3 different countries. In her downtime, she loves to travel and has been to over 25 countries. In addition, she is currently studying for a post grad.

Secretary

Tracy Ho

Graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental) from Monash University, Tracy has over 10+ years of experience in the proptech industry, across various industries including mining, construction and real estate. Tracy currently works with JLL as their APAC Property Technology Innovation Lead to drive the technology journey for JLL and their clients. She is also actively involved with The University of Melbourne through their STEM mentoring program and the Stephen Ho Innovation Award, which provides mentoring and financial support to BioDesign Innovation students. In her down time, she is an avid enthusiast of art, video games and kpop.

Tresurer

Katrina Schwetz

Kat has been in IT for 20+ years, having completed a BSc (Computer Science) and Masters of IT at Macquarie University. Her career and journey has seen her running projects, managing contracts and budgets, as well as leading local, regional and global technical teams with a focus on impactful customer outcomes. She is currently working for AWS as the APJC Leader of a Specialist Consultancy team. A sports enthusiast, avid animal lover with 5 fur babies (all rescues) and enjoys exploring / travel in her down time.
